Send Flowers Anywhere With Ease

Express special feelings by sending roses or other flowers. Whether you send flowers to say “I love you,” show sympathy, or to congratulate, a bouquet of flowers communicates a sentiment rarely misunderstood and one that the receiver genuinely appreciates. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of florists worldwide, you can send flowers anywhere with few geographical limitations.

Walk-in Ordering

You can send flowers simply by walking into a local florist shop. If you don’t normally use a florist, ask an administrative assistant where you work for a recommendation. Corporate admins keep a list of florists the company uses to send flowers to bereaved and hospitalized employees. If you want to send roses nationally or internationally and have no recommended destination florist, your local florist will research florists in the destination city and locate one for you. Florists worldwide work in partnership to send and receive floral orders. Your florist will call, e-mail, or fax your order to the destination partner. On the date of delivery, the partner florist will deliver a bouquet of flowers exactly as you ordered to the address you provided. Make sure the receiver’s address and phone number is correct.

Choose the bouquet, vase, ribbon, and other trimmings you like. Making your own selections is the best way to send flowers locally since you have the advantage of choosing the best looking and freshest flowers.

For local delivery, handwrite your message on the accompanying greeting card. Your handwriting tells the receiver you cared enough to make the selection personally. If the rose or other flower arrangement is for national or international delivery, hand-write the card anyway to assure that the florist transmits the message to the receiving florist just as you stated it. Always get a copy of the transaction.

Using a Florist by Phone

Call your local florist if you are unable to visit a florist shop. Explain what you’d like in the way of a bouquet of flowers. Give the receiver’s name, address, and phone number. Have the delivery information read back for verification.

Read the greeting for the card accompanying the bouquet from a concise message you have pre-written. The florist will tell you what payments methods they accept. Give your e-mail address, fax number, or home address to receive a copy of the order.

Using an Online Florist

If you have no specific recommendations for an online florist, look for a reputable online florist in your city. Select local and international online florists by their reputations, cost, delivery time, and stated quality of the flowers.

Choose one or more florists then e-mail them before you order. Ask for more information on the delivery, charges, and any other concerns you may have.

Fill in the online ordering information. If you use an online florist in the country of delivery, payment will be according to their currency. Foreign currency rates fluctuate daily. Make sure the rate is firm at the time of purchase.
