With just one overnight visit to an event by a motor coach tour adding between $5000 to $13000 to a local economy, it’s obvious just how important the Philadelphia Flower Show has now become to the commercial interests of the city of Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Flower Show has been a tradition in Philadelphia since 1829 and now attracts over 250,000 visitors to the city annually. All proceeds from the flower show are shared equally between the PHS community charity, Philadelphia Green, and the Horticultural Society.
