Hydrangeas are rightly popular deciduous garden plants, whose extravagant blooms find them a place in many garden designs, especially in shady gardens. They are hardy and easy to grow shrubs, with spectacular heads of bloom in a wide range of colours from white and pink to red purple and even blue.
