Gardening can be an extremely joyful adventure, until children get involved. Children can make the peaceful, harmonious act of gardening and become bored after only a short period. There are some tasks that children would not be well-suited for, but others where children excel. These ideas will keep children happy and parents unfrazzled throughout the entire gardening process.

Spreading the seeds of flowers is almost as important as choosing the correct place for them to be grown. They must be distributed well, far enough apart that there will be no large groups of flowers, if that isn’t what was intended.

Seeds can be dispersed by children spinning in circles, pretending to be a fairy distributing magic fairy dust, or just having fun. Edible plants will encourage children to take excellent care of their plants. By choosing to grow peppers, beans, tomatoes, and other salad vegetables, your child will gain the knowledge of how to grow their own food and it will provide them with the nutrition they require.
Many people find gardening to be a relaxing and joyous experience, until children move into the picture. Children make things difficult, they get bored easily and try to help with everything. They can be destructive and a bother to have around the garden, unless you know how to keep them pleased.
